In the vast expanse of the Starfield universe, players can uncover an array of captivating side quests, each offering the promise of valuable XP and Credits. Among these optional adventures is the “Starfield Lost and Found” quest, a delightful journey that takes players to the luxurious “Hotel Paradiso” on the idyllic planet of “Porrima II.” In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to embark on and conquer the “Lost and Found” side quest.

How to Begin the Lost and Found Quest

  1. Travel to Paradiso: Your quest begins when you set foot on Paradiso, situated on the enchanting planet of Porrima II. Upon arrival, make your way to the magnificent “Hotel Paradiso.”
  2. Speak to Dirk: Inside the hotel, head to the reception desk and engage in a conversation with an NPC named Dirk. Express your interest in renting a room and select the dialogue option that offers to help find “lost belongings.”
  3. Access the Computer: After expressing your willingness to assist, Dirk will direct you to a nearby computer at the end of the reception desk. Here, you’ll find a file containing a list of “lost guest items” and their last known locations. Among the items are a “lost room keycard,” “thermos,” “wedding ring,” and “slate.”

With the quest officially underway, your task is to scour the hotel and its surroundings for the “missing items.” Use the information from the computer file as clues to guide your search. In your quest inventory, you’ll find a checklist of the “lost belongings” to keep track of your progress.

  1. Lost Wedding Ring: According to the file, the “wedding ring” vanished on the beach near the entrance to a cabana. Head to the beach, pass the first cabana, and look for the ring in the bushes near a stone staircase. Use your “scanner tool” to reveal the ring, ensuring the “Lost and Found” quest is active in your inventory.
  2. Lost Thermos: The “thermos” is also located outside the hotel. Return to the hotel entrance and follow the path leading to the landing bay. Midway along the path, there’s a set of boxes in a corner. Activate your “scanner” to pinpoint the thermos resting on the path behind the boxes.
  3. Lost Room Keycard: Inside the hotel, take the elevator to the “Fifth Floor Premium Suites.” Upon exiting the elevator, discover the “room keycard” on the floor tucked away in a corner of the hallway, near a white coffee table and couches.
  4. Lost Slate: Journey to the “Rooftop Terrace” via the elevator. The “lost slate” may require a bit of searching, but you’ll eventually locate it on the floor opposite the main bar, near a white couch.

Once you’ve successfully gathered all the “lost items,” return to Dirk in the “Hotel Paradiso” lobby to share the good news. Dirk will commend your efforts and generously reward you with “1300 Credits”—a respectable sum that can be used to acquire ships, homes, or upgraded equipment in “Starfield.” Furthermore, you’ll earn “55 XP points” for your completion of the “Lost and Found” quest.

In your journey through the vast reaches of “Starfield,” the “Lost and Found” quest is a charming detour offering both rewards and a memorable experience. Happy adventuring!
