Piroya’s comedic manga, “Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijo,” is set to make its way to the small screen with an exciting anime adaptation. Crunchyroll has announced its plans to stream the series under the title “The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch” this coming October. As we eagerly await the premiere, a captivating new key visual has been unveiled, featuring the main characters gazing up at a moonlit night.

In this anime, the talented Nana Mizuki will lend her voice to the character Viola, while Aoi Koga will star alongside her as Alissa. The cast also includes renowned voice actors such as Takaya Hashi in the role of Phoenix and Romi Park as Lyra. The anime is under the direction of Masahiro Takata, known for his work on “High-Rise Invasion,” with GyroKnuckle handling the scriptwriting and Miwa Yoshida contributing character designs for the A-Real production.
Piroya’s manga, “Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou,” has been delighting readers within the pages of COMIC Meteor in Japan since its debut in July 2018. The story revolves around Alyssa, a solitary witch who stumbles upon a human baby in the forest one day. Despite her initial confusion, she names the child Viola and decides to raise her. Fast forward 16 years, and Viola has grown beyond Alissa’s wildest expectations…perhaps a bit too much!
