Prepare for an epic adventure as CI Games’ highly anticipated release, Lords of the Fallen, draws nearer. In a captivating 7-minute overview trailer, the game’s creators provide a glimpse into the dark and immersive world that awaits players.

With just weeks until the official release of Hexworks’ biggest title yet, Lords of the Fallen, CI Games has unveiled a 7-minute video that delves into what players can expect from the game and offers a glimpse of the foes and characters they will encounter on their quest to challenge the reign of Adyr.

Set a thousand years after the events of the original 2014 game, this installment promises a considerably darker tone, akin to the Dark Souls series. While the original title already shared similarities with Dark Souls in terms of gameplay, this iteration aims to provide a more meticulously crafted experience.

In addition to the engaging narrative and characters, the trailer showcases the diverse environments players will explore as they progress through the game. Unlike Elden Ring, Lords of the Fallen will not feature an open-world experience but will instead draw inspiration from Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3.

The trailer hints at the “Five Holy Beacons of the Sentinels,” likely representing the five areas players must traverse to reclaim Mournstead by rekindling the radiance of these beacons. A mystical lamp bestows the power to restore radiance, allowing players to journey between two distinct realms: the realm of the living, Axiom, and the realm of the dead, Umbra, each with its unique worlds, enemies, and bosses.

Lastly, the game will offer multiplayer and nine starting classes, akin to Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3, providing flexibility for character progression.
