The much-anticipated sequel of the Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World anime, announced in October 2021, has finally released a new promo during Kadokawa’s weekend event. The upcoming season 2, directed by Yuki Inaba (known for KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World) at Studio Palette and SILVER LINK, boasts the creative talents of Kaori Yoshikawa for character designs and Elements Garden for composing the music.

Originally planned for a 2023 release, the second season faced delays, pushing its premiere to 2024. Crunchyroll has already secured streaming rights for the new season.

In the English market, Yen Press handles the publication of the original light novel series Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, penned by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe. The series delves into the captivating narrative of a long-standing conflict between the scientifically advanced Empire and the enchanting Nebulis Sovereignty, where two young adversaries, Iska and Aliceliese, find themselves entangled in a tale of forbidden love amidst a war-torn world.
