A new bug in the highly anticipated Spider-Man 2 game has left players facing an unusual glitch that transforms Miles Morales into a tiny white cube. As the game allows players to explore an expanded open world, including Manhattan, Harlem, Queens, and Brooklyn, the added space for interaction has brought new opportunities for fun. While Fast Travel is still an option, alternative methods of traversal, such as wind tunnels used in combination with gliders, add to the excitement of getting around the massive cityscape.

However, with the vast world that Insomniac has crafted, some players have encountered bugs. One notable bug occurs when players switch suits with Miles Morales, transforming the character into a small white square. The peculiar square still possesses Miles’ voice lines and regular moves, enabling web-swinging and combat. During a side mission where Miles needs to save a civilian from enemies, the NPC needed to be carried to an ambulance, and the animation played out strangely, making it appear as though the civilian was floating above the white cube.
While this bug doesn’t break the game, it disrupts the experience by rendering animations and character positioning impossible to see. Insomniac advises players to download the Day One Update, which, while not fixing the bug, enhances the overall experience with additional polish, accessibility options, and other refinements.
