World of Warcraft’s BlizzCon revealed an ambitious three-part saga titled “The Worldsoul Saga,” encompassing the expansions “The War Within,” “Midnight,” and “The Last Titan.” This trilogy introduces players to a vast narrative that commences in 2024 with “The War Within,” promising extensive explorations across various regions and significant character involvements.

In “The War Within,” players will journey through Khaz Algar, the Isle of Dorn, and encounter iconic figures like Alleria, Thrall, Anduin, and Xal’atath, addressing impending darkness in Azeroth’s depths. “Midnight” plans to revisit Quel’thalas, focusing on the conflict between the Light and the Void.
The trilogy culminates in “The Last Titan,” set in Northrend and Ulduar, where the Titans return and players will unveil a significant conspiracy, redefining the Titans’ objectives and Azeroth’s true purpose. Chris Metzen hinted at these expansions being smaller and more frequent, with the Dragonflight Patch 10.2 potentially concluding the current expansion, leading into “The War Within.”

Though BlizzCon only introduced details for the first part, more information about “The War Within” will likely surface in the coming months. “Midnight” and “The Last Titan” might follow suit, providing further glimpses into these upcoming sagas as the narrative unfolds in the game.
