Anime Synopsis:

The story follows Hitori Gotoh, also known as “Bocchi-chan,” a remarkably introverted and timid girl whose interactions typically begin with a hesitant “Ah…”. During her middle school years, she discovers her passion for playing the guitar, hoping to join a band to showcase her talents despite her shyness. However, her lack of friends leads her to practice the guitar relentlessly for six hours daily in isolation.
As she becomes a proficient guitarist, she adopts the online persona “Guitar Hero,” sharing her performances on the internet and dreaming of gracing the stage at her school’s cultural festival concert. Despite her persistent efforts, the challenges of finding compatible bandmates leave her friendless as she transitions to high school. However, a turning point arises when Nijika Ijichi, the drummer of Kessoku Band, extends a hand of friendship, gradually transforming her everyday life.
Stay tuned for the release of the much-anticipated BOCCHI THE ROCK! compilation films in 2024, promising an engaging cinematic experience for fans of the manga and anime series.
