Treyarch’s Zombies mode is back with a bang in Call of Duty, bringing a thrilling large-scale Zombies extraction mode to Modern Warfare 3. While it deviates from the traditional round-based structure, the core Zombies features, including the iconic Pack-a-Punch machine, remain vital to the MW3 Zombies experience. This guide is your go-to resource for understanding and mastering the art of upgrading your weapons in MW3 Zombies.

Understanding Pack-a-Punch in MW3 Zombies:

Set against Warzone’s Urzikstan map, MW3 Zombies introduces Pack-a-Punch icons scattered across three threat levels. Departing from previous iterations, the classic Pack-a-Punch machine now allows three weapon upgrades. However, there’s a catch—each zone permits only one upgrade, requiring players to progress through threat levels for subsequent enhancements. The low-threat zone hosts the initial upgrade, followed by the medium-threat zone, and culminating in the high-threat zone.

Costs of Pack-a-Punch Upgrades:

Empowering your weapons through Pack-a-Punch doesn’t come without a cost, and the prices escalate with each tier:

  • 5,000 points for the first tier
  • 10,000 points for the second tier
  • 15,000 points for the third tier

No Saving Pack-a-Punched Guns:

In the world of MW3 Zombies, strategic decisions are paramount. While many items found during matches can be extracted and stored, Pack-a-Punched weapon upgrades do not share this privilege. Despite the significant point investment, these upgrades are temporary and reset after each match. Exfiling becomes a crucial moment as it removes the upgraded weapons, resetting them to their base level blueprints. This emphasizes the importance of timing and strategy when opting for weapon enhancements. Considering the expense of Pack-a-Punching, players need to plan upgrades strategically within the match duration, avoiding late-game enhancements that won’t carry over to subsequent sessions.

Prepare Yourself for the Undead Onslaught:

Master the Pack-a-Punch mechanics, strategize wisely in MW3 Zombies, and conquer the battlefield, one upgraded weapon at a time! Call of Duty enthusiasts, gear up for an intense experience in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies.
