Nightdive Studios Addresses ‘Recent Confusion’ and Apologizes for Bugs in the Early Versions
Nightdive Studios’ eagerly awaited remaster, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion, has made an unexpected early debut on the Switch eShop in Europe and Australia, defying the previously announced release schedule.
Initially slated for a simultaneous release across all platforms at the end of the month, the remaster encountered a “recent confusion” leading to its premature availability in these select regions. Players in Europe and Australia can now access the game ahead of schedule, although this version comes with known bugs and lacks certain quality-of-life improvements.
Nightdive Studios issued a statement through social media, acknowledging the “recent confusion” and expressing apologies for any inconvenience caused. The studio also shared details on fixes in the upcoming updated version via the Nightdive Discord.

For those eager to experience Turok 3 without waiting until November 30th, this early release provides an option, albeit with the caveat of potential bugs. Nightdive Studios plans to address these issues with patches, aiming for a resolution by mid-December.
As emphasized in the statement, regions adhering to the original release date will receive the “correct version” of the game, free from the bugs present in the early releases.
