Mithril ore can be extracted using two key tools: Durin’s Axe and Quarrymaster. The elusive Durin’s Axe comprises five fragments scattered throughout the game, each essential for unleashing its potential to clear shadows and mine precious materials, including Mithril.

How to Get Durin’s Axe

To wield Durin’s Axe effectively, you must gather all five fragments of this legendary tool that once belonged to the first king of Moria:

1. In Westgate, ascend to the second floor of the building with dual staircases to claim the first fragment.
2. Within The Second Hall, a concealed door conceals the second fragment’s location.
3. On The Bridge of Khazad-dûm, search beneath the rubble to uncover the third fragment.
4. The fourth fragment awaits within The Chamber of Mazarbul, safeguarded by a formidable troll and nestled in a chest.
5. Climb the spiral staircase in The Endless Stair to attain the fifth and final fragment.

Once the fragments are secured, forge Durin’s Axe in the Great Forge of Durin, utilizing these materials:
