Sega’s Football Manager 2024 (FM) is generating excitement among gaming enthusiasts as it approaches its release on various platforms. The game promises new and improved features, making it the most comprehensive version of FM to date. This guide is designed to help both new and experienced players make the most of the game, particularly in terms of simulating matches and seasons.

Part 1: Simulating Matches and Seasons in Football Manager 2024

Managing your football club in FM involves progressing from one day to the next, usually by clicking on the “Continue” option in the top right corner of the screen. Efficient time management is crucial in the world of football management games, as it allows you to skip matchdays and access match results swiftly.

In FM 2024, developers have enhanced this experience. New positional play updates enable dynamic position changes, such as the role of an inverted full-back. The game also boasts improved visuals, including lighting and player animations, resulting in matches that are more captivating than ever before.

For those who prefer to fast-track progress and analyze their club’s development without the need to repeatedly click “Continue,” the game offers a useful feature. Players can access this feature by visiting the “My Profile” page and navigating to “My Contracts.” Here, they have the option to Resign, Retire, or Go on a Holiday. This feature allows players to choose the duration of their holidays and how their club is managed in their absence, making the simulation process quicker and more efficient.

Part 2: Adding the Simulate Match Option

The Simulate Match option, not available by default, can be added to FM 2024 by installing a custom skin. Here are the steps to add this feature to your game:

  1. Download a skin pack of your choice from reputable sources like FM Scout or Sortitoutsi.
  2. If the file is compressed, use software like Winrar to extract it.
  3. Locate the “.FMF” file and paste it into the following directory: Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2024 > skins.
  4. Launch FM 2024 and access the “Preferences” section.
  5. Under the “Skins” tab, choose your preferred skin from the dropdown menu and confirm your selection.

It’s important to exercise caution when installing mods, as this may carry certain risks. We recommend thorough research on any mods you plan to install and adherence to the terms of service and guidelines provided by Sega and Sports Interactive.

Conclusion:

By following these steps and exploring the new features in FM 2024, you can enhance your gaming experience and enjoy the world of football management to the fullest. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, these tips will help you navigate the game more efficiently and enjoy the exciting matches it has to offer.
