Typically rare and limited to specific activities, the Dawning Memento breaks away from this pattern, presenting players with a sparkling reward achievable through the Winter Night quest during the Christmas event in Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish.

To embark on this quest, players should initiate the Cookie Delivery Helper, the second Dawning quest offered by Eva Levante. After adding this quest to the log, return to Eva and acquire the Winter Night quest from her inventory. If not immediately provided, a quick reload into the Tower should make it available. Comprising two straightforward steps, this quest aligns with Dawning traditions:

1. Get 75 Snowball Final Blows
2. Achieve 25 upgraded Snowball Final Blows.
3. Deliver a Classic Butter Cookie to Eva

While these steps can be completed in any order, baking a batch of cookies for Eva right after acquiring the quest might prove time-efficient. The first two objectives necessitate engaging enemies in areas with abundant spawns. Snowballs drop randomly after defeating enemies across the Sol system, making the Terminal Overload activity in Neomuna an ideal spot for farming Snowball kills due to the continuous appearance of Shadow Legion Cabal and Vex throughout its three rounds.

To achieve upgraded Snowball kills, players must unlock the Long Winter and Stay Frosty upgrades from Eva. These enhancements prolong Snowball Slow effects and introduce Stasis mines upon Snowball impact, respectively.
