On December 15, 2023, HIDIVE announced the production and streaming of an English-dubbed version of the popular Ragna Crimson anime series, scheduled to debut later in December. The platform disclosed the complete cast list, director details, and the English dub’s release date and time.

Originally premiering on September 30, 2023, the Ragna Crimson anime’s first cour featured a special one-hour episode on Japanese broadcast television. HIDIVE has been globally streaming the series with English subtitles as it airs weekly in Japan.
Adapted from Daiki Kobayashi’s manga published in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker since March 2017, the Ragna Crimson anime series is a television adaptation of the original manga.
Exclusive English Dub Release Date and Directorial Insight

HIDIVE confirmed that the English dub of Ragna Crimson will exclusively premiere on December 23, 2023. Shannon D. Reed will direct the dub, and the cast includes Jack Stansbury as Ragna, Jade Kelly as Crimson, Cat Thomas as Leonica, Juliet Simmons as Ultimatia, and Alan Brincks as Disas Trois. Additional cast members may be announced as the dub progresses.
Ken Takahashi directs the anime at SILVER LINK studios, with Deco Akao overseeing series scripts. Shinpei Aoki designs the characters, while Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki compose the music. The band ulma sound junction performs the opening theme song “ROAR” for the first cour.
The Ragna Crimson anime’s second cour is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 14, 2024. The series airs on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 channels, with streaming on platforms such as the d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai.
