As the new year approaches, World of Warcraft offers Prime Gaming subscribers an exciting limited-time reward.
World of Warcraft presents its initial Prime Gaming reward for 2024: the Swift Windsteed mount in the Dragonflight expansion. Available until January 30, this exclusive reward is accessible to World of Warcraft players who connect their Battle.net and Prime Gaming accounts.
A few days before the release of the Prime Gaming reward, World of Warcraft shared its ambitious 2024 roadmap, detailing updates for both the retail and Classic game versions. January will see updates in both Dragonflight and Wrath of the Lich King Classic, introducing new content for players to explore. In Dragonflight, the Seeds of Renewal content update will feature an epilogue to the expansion, reclaiming the fallen kingdom of Gilneas, shattered since the Cataclysm over a decade ago. Wrath of the Lich King Classic players will delve into the Ruby Sanctum, facing off against the twilight dragon Halion in a precursor to the Cataclysm Classic expansion arriving later in the year.
For avid mount collectors in Dragonflight, the Swift Windsteed is now available to claim as a Prime Gaming reward. World of Warcraft players subscribed to Amazon Prime and Prime Gaming can soar through the skies on the Swift Windsteed, originally offered during the Mists of Pandaria expansion for $25 on the in-game Cash Shop. This mount, previously available as a Twitch Drop in December 2022, has now found its way into the Prime Gaming collection.

In December 2023, the Tabard of Fury was the Prime Gaming reward for World of Warcraft players. Originally part of the WoW TCG as a loot card, the tabard became accessible through Prime Gaming.
