Upthrust Esports BGMI Multiverse Series 2024: Day 1 Semi Finals Overview & More

The first day of the Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Multiverse Series 2024 Semi-Finals wrapped up with notable performances from veteran teams such as Team Tamilas, Reckoning Esports, and Revenant Esports.

Leading the scoreboard, Team Tamilas emerged on top with 61 points. Close behind, Reckoning Esports secured second place with 56 points, including a victory in one of the matches. Revenant Esports claimed the third position with a total of 52 points, boosted by their aggressive play yielding 25 finish points. Global Esports and Medal Esports also put up strong showings, ranking fourth and fifth with 50 and 48 points, respectively.

Day 1 Highlights of BGMI Multiverse Series Semi-Finals:

  • Match 1 on Erangel (A vs B): Team Tamilas clinched the first match, but it was Global Esports who amassed the most points at 26. Chemin Esports and WSB Gaming finished in third and fourth places, respectively. Orangutan’s Ashish “Ash” Bhatnagar stood out as MVP with six solo finishes.
  • Match 2 on Miramar (A vs C): IQOO Soul grabbed the spotlight with a 29-point win, thanks to Rudra “Spower”’s exceptional performance. Revenant Esports continued their aggressive approach, finishing with a solid 22 points.
  • Match 3 on Erangel (B vs C): Team 8Bit’s 22-point victory was a highlight, while Team Tamilas maintained their consistent performance with 21 points. Entity Gaming and Medal Esports also scored well, contributing to the day’s competitiveness.
  • Match 4 on Miramar (A vs B): Medal Esports staged an impressive comeback with a 20-point win, though Revenant Esports edged them out in overall points. Reckoning Esports also performed strongly, finishing in third place.
  • Match 5 on Erangel (A vs C): GenxFM made a notable comeback, securing a 24-point win. Blind Esports balanced finish and placement points well, earning them 18 points.
  • Match 6 on Miramar (B vs C): Reckoning Esports continued their strong performance with a 24-point win. Medal Esports and WindGod Esports also showcased skillful play, contributing significantly to the day’s excitement.

Overall, Day 1 of the semi-finals highlighted the dominance of experienced teams like Team Tamilas, Reckoning Esports, and Revenant Esports. However, teams such as Team Destro, Godlike Esports, and Team XSpark have yet to showcase their full potential.
