Launch Trailer for Mario vs. Donkey Kong Unveiled

Celebrating its debut on the Nintendo Switch, players are in for a miniature adventure with the launch trailer of the puzzle platformer Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

Serving as a spiritual successor to the classic 1994 Game Boy title, Mario vs. Donkey Kong follows the story of Donkey Kong’s mischievous act of snatching Mini-Mario toys from Mario’s Toy Company.

Equipped with a variety of moves, including handstands, somersaults, and triple jumps, Mario embarks on a mission to overcome various challenges in each stage. Mario’s skills undergo a rigorous test as he retrieves keys for locked doors, guides Mini-Mario toys to safety in a Toy Box, and confronts challenging boss levels.

The game has garnered a Metacritic rating of 77 from 71 critics, indicating a “Generally Favorable” reception.
