Arrowhead Games Studios has rolled out update 1.000.304 for Helldivers 2, focusing on fixing various bugs and game crashes that have affected players since its launch in February. Despite encountering challenges such as server issues and a PSN account controversy, the game has maintained its popularity, becoming one of Sony’s fastest-selling PlayStation titles.
The recent patch aims to tackle persistent game crashes, including instances related to loading into the ship, examining loadouts, and issues triggered by a host leaving the room after a player joins. Additionally, several bugs have been addressed, such as adjustments to the Airburst proximity explosion and fixing color scheme errors for the AR-61 Tenderizer weapon.
In response to player feedback and ongoing controversies, an optional setting for PSN account linking has been introduced within the in-game settings. While these updates demonstrate Arrowhead’s commitment to improving the game, some players remain divided on frequent balance adjustments, with concerns raised about the impact on gameplay enjoyment.
