Pokémon GO Shares New Info on Max Battles

Niantic has unveiled new details about the upcoming Max Battles in Pokémon GO, a highly anticipated feature that introduces Dynamax mechanics to the game. This feature, which was first seen in Generation 8 of Pokémon games, allows Pokémon to temporarily grow in size and gain access to powerful Max Moves. There is also a Gigantamax variant where Pokémon not only grow but also change appearance and can use G-Max Moves.

With the start of the Max Out season, Dynamax is finally making its way to Pokémon GO. To give players a better idea of what to expect, Niantic has shared information about Max Battles with Japanese media. According to Pokémon GO Hub, Max Battles will involve four key stages:

1. Collecting Max Particles: Players will need to gather 250 Max Particles to unlock Power Stops, which will begin appearing after walking 2km during the current season.
2. Team Formation: Up to four players can team up for Max Battles, with each team allowed to include up to three Dynamax Pokémon.
3. The Battle: The battle will be conducted in a series of limited turns, adding a strategic element to the encounters.
4. Catching Dynamax Pokémon: After the battle, trainers will have a chance to catch the Dynamax Pokémon they have just fought.

These new details are expected to enhance the player experience and bring an exciting new dimension to Pokémon GO’s gameplay.
