The highly anticipated BULLET/BULLET anime, directed by Sunghoo Park (known for Ninja Kamui and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1), is set to premiere on Disney+ in summer 2025. The anime, which was previously known by the working title Project BULLET/BULLET, has already captured attention with its unique post-apocalyptic action-racing concept. A teaser visual and trailer showcasing the exciting premise have been released, giving fans a glimpse into what’s to come.
The BULLET/BULLET anime features an impressive lineup of staff credits, including Aki Kindaichi, who will serve as the series composer. Kindaichi is also working on the upcoming Umamusume: Cinderella Gray. The character designer and chief animation director is Takahiro Yoshimatsu, who is best known for his work on A Place Further Than the Universe. Hidetaka Tenjin, known for his mechanical design work on Knights and Magic, will handle the concept and mechanical design for BULLET/BULLET. Additionally, Shin Misawa, famed for directing Initial D, will oversee car action in the series. Yoshiteru Tsujino, who worked as the character designer for FLCL Grunge, is responsible for the “Gacha” design.
First revealed in 2022, BULLET/BULLET is produced by Park’s own animation studio, E&H Production. With its thrilling premise and talented staff, the anime promises to be a major hit when it hits Disney+ in the summer of 2025. Fans of action, racing, and post-apocalyptic settings have a lot to look forward to in this visually striking and high-paced series.
