A new character visual of Meme Kakure has been unveiled for the upcoming second season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You, set to premiere in Japan on January 12, 2025. The anime continues its romantic comedy harem storyline, adapted from the manga by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa.

Returning from season one, the production staff includes director Hikaru Sato, series screenwriter Takashi Aoshima, character designer and chief animation director Akane Yano, and sub-character designer Mika Nishiyama. Tsumugi Maeda will also return as a co-costume designer. The animation production is once again handled by Bibury Animation Studios.

The anime is based on the The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You manga series, which began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump in December 2019. The series has released 19 tankobon volumes as of September 2024, with the 20th volume set for release in December. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English.
The first season aired from October to December 2023 and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which will also stream the second season. The story follows Rentaro Aijo, who, after being rejected 100 times, is promised by the God of Love to meet 100 people he is destined to love, with life-or-death stakes for each relationship.
