DAN DA DAN fans can celebrate as Season 3 has officially been confirmed immediately after the conclusion of Season 2’s finale. The announcement continues the momentum of one of the most talked-about anime titles of the decade. To mark the news, a special commemorative illustration for Season 3 was also released.

Season 2 was co-directed by Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora at Science SARU, the studio behind its visually dynamic adaptation. Based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga serialized on Shonen Jump+, the story has achieved tremendous success, with more than 10 million copies currently in circulation.
The anime is available to stream worldwide on Crunchyroll and Netflix, bringing its unique mix of action, supernatural mystery, and comedy to a global audience. Crunchyroll describes DAN DA DAN as a thrilling supernatural action-comedy blending ghosts, aliens, and young love. The plot follows high schooler Momo, from a family of spirit mediums but skeptical of aliens, and Okarun, an eccentric classmate obsessed with extraterrestrials. Their playful rivalry unexpectedly plunges them into the world of real paranormal encounters.
As events escalate, Momo awakens latent spiritual powers while Okarun gains a bizarre cursed ability. Together, they face off against yokai, aliens, and otherworldly beings, pushing them into high-stakes battles where humor and heart shine through.
Much of the series’ charm lies in its main duo: the grounded yet compassionate Momo and the quirky but endearing Okarun. Their growing bond anchors the fast-paced story, supported by colorful side characters, stunning creature designs, and Science SARU’s trademark animation style. With its mix of horror, comedy, and emotional storytelling, DAN DA DAN has established itself as a standout modern series. Season 3 now promises to deliver even more supernatural chaos and heartfelt moments.
