After revealing Season 2 – Season of Blood at Gamescom, Blizzard is preparing to unleash a brand-new patch.

The release of yet another significant update for the dungeon-crawler Diablo 4 has fans anxiously anticipating it. For the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, Diablo 4 update 1.1.3 will be accessible. Blizzard has just formally confirmed that it will launch “next week”; the specific release date has not yet been disclosed. Either on August 29 or August 31, the update is anticipated to go live at 6pm BST UK time. The update continues to make balancing adjustments and bug fixes everywhere.
Diablo 4 community manager Adam Fletcher made the announcement and provided a release date for the update.

“We have patch notes for 1.1.3 hitting tomorrow morning,” tweets Fletcher. “Next week will see the release of this patch.”
‘Season of Blood’ is the name of Diablo 4 Season 2, and Blizzard recently provided additional information about it. The patch is released just days afterwards.
Five new and returning endgame bosses, modifications to renown rewards, changes to gem and stash storage, and adjustments to resistance and status effects are all included in the new season.
On October 17, all platforms will be able to download Diablo 4 Season 2, which was announced during gamescom Opening Night Live.

UPDATE FOR GAMEPLAY
Monsters
Update on The Game Monster abilities and elite affixes that apply Crowd Control effects have undergone a number of changes from SWe, including

• Chilling Wind will less frequently create overlapping walls.
• It is now simpler to evade the Cannibal Gorger’s Stun ability.
• Extended the Cold Goatman Ice Pillars’ cooldown period.
• The Cold Spider attack’s chill effect was lessened.
• The Nangari Snake Eyes’ 1.25-second stun time was cut from 1.5 seconds.
• It is now simpler to avoid being stunned by foes on the Cannibal Gorger.
• Additional adjustments that lessen how frequently Crowd Control can target the player
General
• Fire Enchanted monsters’ death explosions discharge a wave less frequently and deliver 20% less damage.
• The charge attack of the Bloated Corpsefiend now deals 14% less damage.
BUG FIXES
Season of the Malignant
• A problem where the tooltip for the Shadow Clone offered by the Caged Heart of Trickery in the Fields of Hatred was incorrect has been resolved.
• The Caged Heart of Trickery may apply Crowd Control effects to the Shadow Clone, which would then transfer to the player. This problem has been fixed.
• A problem where the Imbued Cast Skill would prevent the Caged Heart of the Calculated from causing its stun effect was resolved.
• Resolved a problem wherein monsters might get access to the room in the Ravening Pit where Varshan can be found.
• A problem where, if the player had previously died to Varshan, the Echo of Varshan quest would not be finished even after Varshan had been vanquished.
• The Recently accomplished area of the Challenges menu now correctly displays accomplished Season Journey objectives.
• The player’s Stash would not receive the prizes for beating Varshan the first time if the bug was fixed.
Gameplay
• Other players were surprisingly able to get an advantage when one player used the following skills and powers on a monster. This problem has been resolved.

• A bug where a Druid player’s inventory may overflow with Spirit Blessings and prevent progression for quests that required the use of specific items.
Developer’s Note: By dropping Druidic Spirit Offerings from the quest inventory, other quest items can now be picked up.
• A problem where players can lose Aberrant Cinders after going into a Cellar has been resolved.
• A problem where players can temporarily become stuck when attempting to dodge just after performing a channeled spell (such as Incinerate or Lightning Storm) has been resolved.
• A problem where Treasure Goblins between the levels of 15 and 40 did not always drop a guaranteed Legendary item has been fixed.
User Interface
• A bug that instructed players to provide the clan’s name in the disbanding of a clan prompt rather than the provided code has been fixed.
• The quest marker for searching the Records Room during the Answers in the Ashes quest no longer remained visible after the objective was completed. This problem has been fixed.
• A problem where the Blessed Mother Departed objective misidentified the dungeon’s name as Echo of Hatred has been resolved.
• The appearance of two overlapping icons for Cormond’s Workbench in the Dry Steppes was fixed.
• A problem where untracked Whispers’ progress alerts would constantly show the same update has been resolved.
