All the weapons and skillshots that fans loved from the original shooter Bulletstorm will be included in the VR version.
According to the announcement from publisher People Can Fly and developer Incuvo, Bulletstorm VR is set to launch on December 14 for PSVR, Meta Quest 2, and PC VR via Steam. You can watch the recently released new release date trailer for the game below.
In Bulletstorm VR, players step into the shoes of Grayson Hunt after he crash-lands on a deserted resort planet. Hunt is on a mission to both find those responsible for betraying him and his team and locate his crew.
Bulletstorm VR will allow players to seamlessly switch between melee and ranged combat, much like the original cult classic shooter Bulletstorm. This enables players to execute stylish kills and utilize the Skillshot system, which rewards creativity in battle. Players will also have access to iconic weapons from the original game, such as the Energy Leash, which allows for unique combat strategies.
Additionally, players can expect to wield other weapons and skills like the Flailgun and the ability to dual-wield weapons in Bulletstorm VR.
