With the arrival of Firewall Ultra, the launch journey is almost at a conclusion! Players will be able to explore the amazing new world we’ve created for the first time starting on August 24. We’re looking forward to watching everyone in-game hone their aim at the shooting range, engage in online combat with other Contractors, and create their ideal loadout at the weapon bench. We believe you’ll enjoy finally having the chance to delve into everything we have in store for you in Firewall Ultra, which is a dense game.

Check out our brand-new debut trailer to see highlights from a range of maps, our launch partners, and both PvP and PvE game types to really see what we’ve been up to.
Some of those locales might be familiar to you if you’ve played Firewall Zero Hour, the first game in the franchise. Although five years have passed (both physically and in-game), Firewall Ultra takes place in the same universe as the previous game. As a result, various alterations have been made to the planet. The classic Bunker site on the Office map has undergone renovation and arson, and you’ll discover some new tunnels and paths there. You’ll also notice that other in-game maps have changed.
Launch Content
At debut, Firewall Ultra will have a total of 8 different maps, each of which is completely playable in both the highly regarded intense 4v4 PvP mode, Contracts, and the recently unveiled 4-player co-op PvE mode, Exfil. There is more information about that new mode here. Because Firewall Ultra is intended to be as dynamic as possible, elements like objectives and the locations of AI foes’ spawn sites will change every time you play the PvE mode, keeping things interesting and new.
Because Firewall Ultra is a live service game, we have extensive plans for post-launch support that cover every aspect of the game from top to bottom. Nevertheless, we’re offering a rich, comprehensive, and deep game from day one that’s stuffed with content you can get your teeth into.
You have the option to make your own unique loadouts in addition to the standard ones you’ll discover. This means that as you gain new weapons and equipment, you can customize them with new attachments, camouflage paint, and other accessories to create your ideal arsenal by buying them from our Black Road vendors in-game using Crypto, our in-game money you earn by playing. We have a wide variety of weapons, including sniper rifles, shotguns, handguns, submachine guns, and more. Remember that you still have this week to place a pre-order for Firewall Ultra to get your Reaper X75 legendary weapon!
Roadmap following launch
Now that Firewall Ultra is a live service game and the Digital Deluxe Edition gives you access to one post-launch Operation Pass*, we also know that you probably want to know what equipment is in an Operation. Understandable!
The plan for Firewall Ultra’s first full year of content and upgrades is shown in the figure below. Initially, our primary attention is on launch and rapid launch assistance, but later this year, our first operation will begin to take shape. You may recall what those involved from playing Firewall Zero Hour, and we’re adopting a similar strategy with Firewall Ultra.
The first Operation will have 60 rewards, as you can see above, which you may unlock by fulfilling tasks. The rewards will range from cosmetics, in-game gold, boosters to an additional Contractor with a new equip able skill, one weapon, and new weapon attachments. Operations will remain active for roughly three months, following which we’ll switch to a another Operation and go through the same process again.
In addition to the Operations, we also have plans to support the game by adding new gameplay elements and making other enhancements that will be gradually rolled out to all players. We also intend to release two additional maps (which may be used in both Exfil and Contracts modes), as well as two new co-op PvE modes. All players will have free access to all of that.
