Ubisoft has partnered with AMD to unveil the PC features for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The PC version of the open-world game will support high frame rates, multi-core CPUs, Ultrawide monitors, and Nvidia DLSS.

Players will have the ability to adjust a variety of graphics settings in the game, including Spot Shadows, Specular Reflections, Diffuse Reflections, Sun Contact Shadows, and more.

Benchmark tools will also be available, allowing players to assess frame rates and usage rates for both their CPU and GPU, a feature commonly found in many of the publisher’s PC games. The game will also support “most resolutions and aspect ratios,” including Ultrawide TVs, through AMD’s FSR 2. Additionally, Nvidia users will have access to DLSS, though the level of implementation remains uncertain.

PC players will benefit from high refresh rates and multi-core CPU support. Depending on their hardware and settings, PC users may also experience a “higher frame rate.” Stay tuned for further information in the coming months to determine whether this implies consoles won’t achieve a consistent 60 frames per second or not.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to release on December 7 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Amazon Luna. It will also be available on day one for Ubisoft+ subscribers on Xbox and PC.
