To unlock it, you’ll need to input the iconic Konami code, a tribute to a code that’s been part of Konami’s games for over four decades.
Here’s how to use the Konami Code and get the Vic Viper Charm:
- For PC users: Input W, W, S, S, A, D, A, D, RMB, LMB, and then press Enter.
- For Xbox users: Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, and then Start.
- PlayStation users: Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, O, X, and then Options.
Make sure to enter the code on the main menu before accessing any in-game options. Once done correctly, you’ll hear 8-bit music, confirming your success. The Vic Viper Charm will then appear in your inventory. Don’t worry about making multiple attempts; there’s no limit to how many times you can try.
Before entering the code, remember these prerequisites:
- You must own the Silent Hill DLC, as this is when the Easter egg was introduced.
- Either Pyramid Head (the Executioner) or Cheryl Mason (the Survivor) must be present in the lobby.
