In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, players have the opportunity to customize their trainers’ appearances, a feature introduced in Pokémon X/Y. While the clothing options initially felt somewhat limited compared to previous titles like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Expansion Pass (The Teal Mask) breathes new life into trainer customization.

To unlock these fresh clothing options, trainers must obtain the Teal Style Card, a reward from The Teal Mask’s storyline. Once the Treasure Hunt commences and players receive a call from Jacq, they must return to Naranja/Uva Academy and consult Ms. Briar. This initiates their journey to Kitakami.

In Mossui Town, trainers encounter two new characters, Carmine and Kieran, and the story pairs them with Kieran for orientation. This quest takes them across Kitakami to visit three signposts. The second signpost, located at Kitakami Hall, leads trainers to The Dreaded Den on Oni Mountain, where they battle Kieran before visiting his and Carmine’s house.

Visiting Kieran’s house after The Dreaded Den unlocks the Festival Jinbei (Green) and provides trainers with the coveted Teal Style Card from Kieran and Carmine’s grandmother. This card unlocks an array of accessories at clothing stores throughout Paldea and introduces several new hairstyles.

With over 300 new accessories at their disposal, trainers can revamp their look and embrace fresh styles across the region. Additionally, by speaking with Carmine and Kieran’s grandmother, trainers can acquire the Festival Jinbei (White/Gray) and Festival Jinbei (Deep Blue), reminiscent of the attire worn by Kieran and Carmine at the Festival of Masks. For new hairstyles, trainers can visit any barber store in major cities like Mesagoza, Levincia, or Cascarrafa.
This expansion enhances the trainer customization experience in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, allowing trainers to express themselves through their unique style.
