Bandai Namco Games showcased Tekken 8 at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, offering fans a glimpse of the upcoming fighting game sequel’s features and gameplay. The event included a snippet of the Story Mode, featuring a battle between Kazuya and Jin set in a war-torn city. Notably, Jin throws his motorbike at Kazuya’s chopper in an attempt to get his attention.

One exciting addition to the game is the Replay feature, allowing players to take control of their character for 10 seconds to analyze and learn from their actions, which can be valuable for improving defensive strategies.

Tekken 8 is scheduled for release on January 26, 2024, for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Closed Beta Test planned for late October. The game’s storyline continues about six months after Tekken 7, with Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama seeking to resolve their longstanding feud following the death of Heihachi Mishima.
