EA Sports has announced Season 6 of EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, featuring the Ryder Cup. In Patch 7.0, players can choose between representing Team USA or Team Europe in this prestigious golf tournament. The update also introduces the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, the venue for the 2023 Ryder Cup, adding to the existing Ryder Cup locations in the game.

Season 6 content includes the “MultiVerse” gear set for both Team USA and Team Europe. Completing the Pro Pass unlocks Scottie Scheffler’s Ball Spec in the free tier, while the premium tier offers a Titleist SM9 Custom Team USA or Europe Wedge.

Players can level up the Pro Pass by completing live Quests, Ryder Cup Challenges, and playing rounds online, in tournaments, or in their career. Crowd chants for Team USA or Europe, the Ryder Cup anthem, and updated commentary have been added to enhance the Ryder Cup experience.

Foursomes and Four-Ball modes are now available in Online and Private Matches, and a Top 100 Teams Leaderboard has been introduced. The maximum golfer level has increased from 50 to 60, and the Challenge mode focuses on Ryder Cups from 1991, 1995, 1999, and 2020, with challenges for the 2023 event to follow.

Additionally, the PGA of America and Battlefy have collaborated to create the PGA of America eSeries, featuring the Ryder Cup and all four men’s golf majors. The series runs alongside the Ryder Cup and will culminate with a Championship Event on October 21, offering substantial prizes for participants.

It’s a significant update for golf fans in EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, combining the excitement of the Ryder Cup with new gameplay elements and competitive opportunities.
