In just over a month, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will make its debut, and Activision has offered a sneak peek at the game’s multiplayer gameplay. As previously mentioned, the initial focus of the game will be on providing remastered versions of all the maps from 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, including familiar locations like Afghan, Derail, Estate, Favela, Karachi, Highrise, Invasion, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skid Row, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass, and Wasteland. New maps will be introduced after the game’s launch.
The multiplayer trailer not only showcases the remastered MW2 maps but also highlights new character skins, weapons, and a glimpse of the upcoming Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 map, set to release shortly after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The new Warzone map appears to resemble Verdansk, albeit with fresh landmarks, including what seems to be a rocket launch pad.
As for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III open beta, Activision has revealed the playable maps, including Favela, Skid Row, Estate, Rust, and Highrise (available during the second week).
