Starfield Player Discovers Hilariously Inappropriate Perk on a Knife: The ‘Extended Magazine’ Mystery

In the expansive universe of Starfield, players continually seek out exceptional weaponry and loot. However, sometimes, the game’s procedural generation delivers unexpected and comical items. One Starfield player, Postpwnmalone, recently shared their discovery on Reddit – an Osmium Dagger with the “Extended Magazine” perk. While the dagger itself might not be a powerhouse, the humorous twist lies in the perk. Extended Magazine, which typically increases ammunition capacity, has little relevance for a melee weapon like a knife, as knives don’t require ammo.

The post quickly gained popularity on the r/Starfield subreddit, amassing over 7,500 upvotes and sparking discussions about Starfield’s melee weapon options and mechanics. Players highlighted the limited variety in melee weapons and the game’s lack of melee-specific abilities and mechanics, impacting their ability to engage enemies up close.

While this quirky knife may not be a combat game-changer, Starfield occasionally surprises players with remarkably powerful weapons. In a previous discovery, a player uncovered an exceptionally potent pistol – the One Inch Punch Modified Calibrated Old Earth Pistol. This firearm boasted 181 Physical damage, a rapid firing rate, four mod slots, and three perks, including “Furious” and “Rapid,” making it one of the game’s top-tier pistols.

Such unexpected and unique loot adds a layer of fun and unpredictability to the Starfield gaming experience, making every expedition into the game’s vast universe an adventure filled with surprises.
