Top Gear SNES Racing Series Returns as Top Racer Collection on Nintendo Switch in 2024

Kemco’s classic Top Gear racing series, originally debuting on the Super Nintendo in 1992, is making a comeback on the Nintendo Switch. QUByte Interactive has officially announced the release of the “Top Racer Collection” scheduled for January 11, 2024. The series, known as “Top Racer” in Japan, will consist of four titles: Top Racer (Top Gear), Top Racer 2 (Top Gear 2), Top Racer 3000 (Top Gear 3000), and an exciting crossover title, “Top Racer Crossroads,” featuring Horizon Chase.

The Top Racer Collection promises to bring retro gaming fans a nostalgic experience with revamped titles, featuring new filters, an updated interface, and the addition of split-screen and online multiplayer support. With exclusive content and the inclusion of the acclaimed Horizon Chase franchise, this collection is sure to excite fans of classic racing games.
