Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 presents players with a vast array of approximately 80 spidey suits, each offering unique aesthetics and abilities. Initially, players are limited to the Advanced Suit 2.0 for Peter and the Upgraded Suit for Miles. However, as they progress through the tutorial section and explore the city, they will unlock the ability to change suits during the Suit is Sandy main story mission, granting access to the Suits menu.

Unlocking new suits typically involves reaching specific levels, completing main story objectives, or participating in side activities. Once a new suit is accessible, players must navigate to the Suits menu and craft it, using materials like Tech Parts, City Tokens, and Hero Tokens. Crafting a suit is as simple as selecting it and pressing and holding the X button. If essential materials are lacking, players can press Triangle to locate the missing components.

Primarily, unlocking suits involves leveling up, with 48 of the 68 base game suits attainable through leveling. An additional 12 suits are tied to main story progression, while eight more are acquired by completing side quests like Mysteriums, Hunter Bases, and EMF Labs. There are also ten bonus suits available in the deluxe edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for an extra $10 on top of the standard edition price.
