Celebrated Kumarba YouTube Channel Announces Upcoming TV Anime Premiere in 2024, Featuring Original Voice Cast

The popular Kumarba animation YouTube channel catering to kids made an exciting announcement, revealing the upcoming launch of a television anime set to premiere on TV Tokyo and other networks in April 2024.

The anime will feature the original voice cast from the YouTube channel, with Fairouz Ai as Kumarba, Mai Satō as Tabris, Honoka Inoue as Nekorun, and Picchorina as Bagurin.

Overseeing the project is Shōichirō Hiwatashi, the representative director of Kumarba Inc., who serves as the director and producer for the television anime. Kōki Hashimoto, known for their work on various series, is tasked with writing and supervising the series scripts, with support from the talented team at Creative House Pocket.

The Kumarba YouTube channel, launched in 2019, revolves around the escapades of the technology-loving bear Kumarba and his trusty sidekick, the squirrel-themed tablet Tabris. Together with their companions Nekorun and the mischievous Internet virus Bagurin, the group embarks on thrilling adventures. With an impressive subscriber count of 467,000, the channel has gained substantial popularity among its target audience.

Described as an “action-comedy,” the anime will showcase Kumarba and Tabris as they confront the disruptive antics of Bagurin, who wreaks havoc in the online world.
