Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Players Unearth Amusing Yet Bizarre Glitches in Open-World Traversal

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a player stumbled upon an amusing glitch where Peter Parker bizarrely crawls in mid-air, a stark contrast to the game’s typically swift traversal mechanics. The open-world title, celebrated for its enhanced web-slinging speed, was expected to launch polished despite going gold a month before release. Nonetheless, players continue to encounter entertaining bugs in the vast New York environment.

A short clip shared by user TransportationOk7892 showcases Spider-Man slowly crawling in an odd seated position with his head facing downward and his feet moving awkwardly. The glitch’s trigger remains unidentified. Although the post garnered over 1,700 upvotes, opinions were divided—some found the bug humorous, while others were disappointed by glitches in an otherwise exceptional game.

This glitch isn’t the only peculiar one found in Spider-Man 2. Another player witnessed Miles Morales transformed into a white cube, functioning similarly to the character despite lacking a proper body. Additionally, an instance allowed a player to control Venom during free roam by executing a specific sequence within a story mission involving the villain. While encountering bugs in major releases can be disappointing, these glitches, though rare or triggered by specific actions, often provide harmless amusement to players in the otherwise outstanding Spider-Man 2.
