In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can explore various towns bustling with activities, quests, and more. When visiting Rito Village in the northwestern part of Hyrule, they’ll come across Swallow’s Roost, a mini-inn offering a unique experience. Players can choose between a regular bed for 20 Rupees or a luxurious Rito-Down bed for 50 Rupees. The question arises: is the extra cost worth it?

Sleeping in the regular bed lets players pass time to morning, afternoon, or night and wake up with full heart containers. On the other hand, opting for the Rito-Down bed provides additional benefits. Players wake up with three bonus heart containers, indicated by yellow-colored hearts in the top-left corner. These extra hearts are temporary and disappear when damaged until the player sleeps in the special bed again. Additionally, Link gains a bonus yellow stamina bar. This extra stamina is useful for various in-game activities.

It’s essential to keep in mind that spending the stamina in the bonus bar depletes it, and players must return to Swallow’s Roost for a 50-Rupee sleep to regain it. Alternatively, there are other ways to temporarily boost stamina, such as crafting the Enduring Elixir using a Tireless Frog and a Monster Part.

Tears of the Kingdom players can choose between the regular bed for time adjustments and the Rito-Down bed for added health and stamina benefits based on their specific needs and priorities in the game.
