With the closed beta underway and the game’s release just a month away, the event shed light on the multiplayer, Zombies mode, and upcoming changes in Call of Duty: Warzone.

In addition to various gameplay enhancements, including a new Urzikstan map and Gulag for Warzone, the event marked a significant milestone for the franchise. Call of Duty turns 20 this October, and instead of letting this anniversary pass quietly, they are rewarding long-time fans. Between October 6 and October 16, players logging into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will receive seven in-game rewards to celebrate this anniversary.
These rewards include the Villains Expedite 12 Shotgun Weapon Blueprint, a Black Ops Animated Emblem, a Sentinel Task Force Large Weapon Decal, a 2009 Feels Loading Screen, the Heroes FTAC Recon Battle Rifle Weapon Blueprint, a Battle Token Tier Skip, and the Old School Price Operator Skin. To unlock these, players simply need to log in on seven separate days during the ten-day anniversary celebration.

The rewards are a testament to the franchise’s rich history and will surely excite die-hard Call of Duty fans, making the 20th-anniversary event a memorable one. The Villains Weapon Blueprint, featuring iconic villains in a unique Chibi art style, is just one of many highlights, along with an Operator skin that pays homage to Captain Price from the original 2003 Call of Duty game.
As Call of Duty continues to evolve, these rewards serve as a nod to its enduring legacy, delighting fans with nostalgia and anticipation for the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 release.
