The first phase of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer beta recently concluded, offering players a glimpse into what’s in store for the full game. This installment of the franchise distinguishes itself by launching with 16 maps borrowed from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 but revitalized with modern graphics and enhancements. These classic maps include Estate, Favela, and Skidrow, each offering a fresh and visually stunning experience.

In the beta, players enjoyed fan-requested changes, such as red dots returning to the mini-map and the reappearance of slide canceling. Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer aims to satisfy long-time Call of Duty enthusiasts, as it incorporates numerous features that have been requested over the years. The beta showed promising results, indicating an exciting multiplayer experience for fans.

The unknown aspects of Modern Warfare 3 lie in its campaign and open-world Zombies mode. While the campaign appears to follow a familiar formula, players should reserve judgment until they can experience it for themselves. The open-world Zombies mode, set on the Warzone map Urzikstan, presents a different take on the classic Zombies gameplay and adds an element of uncertainty.

As the beta comes to an end, players eagerly await the full game’s release on November 10, eager to see if it truly delivers on the multiplayer front and how the campaign and Zombies mode will shape up.
