Japanese publication Famitsu delivers its verdict on the latest WarioWare installment.

This week, Nintendo Switch users are treated to the release of WarioWare: Move It!, the newest addition to the beloved WarioWare series. In this installment, Wario and his crew present players with a collection of 200 lightning-fast microgames.

The unique gameplay of WarioWare: Move It! involves using the Joy-Con controllers to perform a variety of physical movements and complete tasks. The first official review for the game has surfaced, courtesy of the renowned Japanese publication, Famitsu.

For those unfamiliar, Famitsu employs a review system in which four reviewers individually rate a game, resulting in a total score out of 40. In the case of WarioWare: Move It!, it has garnered impressive scores of 9 / 8 / 9 / 9, accumulating a total of 35 out of 40. This rating places the game just one point behind Nintendo’s recent release, Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Stay tuned for our own review of WarioWare: Move It! coming later today, where you can also expect to learn who the new voice of Wario is. Are you excited about WarioWare: Move It! now that you’ve seen this score? Do you plan to get the game? Share your thoughts with us below.
