Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled exciting news on Wednesday regarding the much-anticipated launch of Tekken 8, the latest installment in the beloved fighting game series. Scheduled for release on January 26, the game will introduce four new fighters: Devil Jin, Zafina, Lee Chaolan, and Alisa Bosconovitch, joining the roster of 32 characters, including the popular Panda.

Tekken 8 underwent closed network testing for PlayStation 5 on July 21 and for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on July 28, featuring cross-play capabilities. Moreover, the game was showcased at various events worldwide, including a prominent presence at the EVO 2023 event from August 4 to 6.
Currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Tekken 8 will offer a diverse array of playable characters, including Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, Jack-8, Ling Xiaoyu, Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith, Lili, and Hwoarang.
Before the upcoming Tekken 8, the preceding title, Tekken 7, made its debut in June 2017 across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam. Additionally, fans of the franchise can indulge in the Tekken: Bloodline anime series, which follows the storyline of the Tekken 3 fighting game, available for streaming on Netflix since August 2022.
