Fuji TV is set to launch a new series titled “KamiErabi GOD.app,” and Crunchyroll streaming has recently announced its acquisition for streaming. The series is scheduled for debut in October 2023, with Hiroyuki Seshita serving as the director and JIN overseeing the series composition. Atsushi Ohkubo is responsible for the character designs, while UNEND is managing the animation production.
Having initially set its premiere for October 4th, 2023, the official website has now unveiled a sneak peek of the fifth episode, slated for release on November 1st, 2023.
The series features the opening song “Scrap & Build” by ELAIZA, and the ending theme “Bleed My Heart” by Alisa.
Amidst the ongoing show, Crunchyroll has shared a new clip from the first episode, showcasing a scene where Honoka attempts to attack Goro with a sword made of meat.
The Japanese cast includes Kazuki Ura as Goro Ono, Shuichi Uchida as Yutaka Akitsu, Sara Matsumoto as Honoka Sawa, Natsuko Abe as Chika Nojima, Gakuto Kajiwara as Koki Ama, Yuuki Shin as Tatsuya, Tomori Kusunoki as Iyo Futana, Ai Fairouz as Mitsuko Okino, and Ayane Sakura as Lall.
The series revolves around Gorou, a disengaged high school student, who unexpectedly receives a mysterious notification on his smartphone. As events unfold, he finds himself embroiled in a life-altering competition for the title of “God”, facing unexpected challenges and confronting the consequences of his desires.
