Overwatch 2 has released a mid-season patch featuring extensive balance adjustments for various heroes. The update brings buffs for D.Va, Winston, Sombra, and Widowmaker, addressing their weaknesses. However, several heroes, including Doomfist, Bastion, Cassidy, Mei, Symmetra, Ana, Baptiste, Illari, Kiriko, and Lifeweaver, received nerfs. Zenyatta underwent a soft rework with adjustments to Orbs of Harmony and Discord.

Additionally, the patch includes changes to Endorsements, slowing decay proportionally based on endorsement opportunities. The Victory Pose now displays the total Progression Level rather than hero-specific levels. The update also teases the upcoming Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM crossover event, a collaboration with the K-pop group. This event introduces a capture-the-flag mode called Concert Clash, challenges, and LE SSERAFIM-inspired skins for D.Va, Kiriko, Tracer, Brigitte, and Sombra. The limited-time event starts on November 1.

While Roadhog’s rework is not part of this patch, it is expected in November, coinciding with Season 8. Players can anticipate learning more about Overwatch 2’s future during the BlizzCon panel on November 4.
