Talented Artist Introduces Lapram, Tangebud, and Tropette with Unique Designs, Names, and Abilities

A passionate Pokemon fan and artist have taken the Pokemon community by storm with delightful renditions of baby forms for Lapras, Tangela, and Tropius. The imaginative designs, complete with new names – Lapram, Tangebud, and Tropette – breathe new life into the concept of baby Pokemon, a feature somewhat overlooked in recent games.
In the realm of Pokemon fan art, creativity knows no bounds, and this artist has stepped up to fill the void left by the absence of baby Pokemon in recent releases. The second generation introduced iconic baby Pokemon like Pichu and Togepi, and now, PhantomLink2782 has given fans a glimpse into what baby forms of these classic creatures might look like.
The artist shared their creations on Reddit, showcasing not only endearing designs but also providing each baby Pokemon with a thoughtful name. Lapram, a fusion of Lapras and “pram” (a term for a stroller), is dubbed the “tiny carrier Pokemon,” showcasing its unique ability to transport small creatures in its shell. Tangebud, a playful combination of Tangela and “bud,” represents a sprouting plant with a single vine and a friendly demeanor. Lastly, Tropette, derived from Tropius and “pette” (indicative of small or young), emanates a fruity aroma and possesses the ability Blossom Guard, creating a protective floral barrier.
The artist’s dedication extends beyond these three creations, as they have also envisioned baby forms for Absol, Skarmory, and Carnivine. Each design is accompanied by detailed Pokedex entries and distinct abilities, showcasing a level of creativity that aligns seamlessly with The Pokemon Company’s own design philosophy.
This isn’t the artist’s sole venture into Pokemon creativity. Beyond baby forms, PhantomLink2782 has crafted Ghost-type fusions in celebration of Halloween, demonstrating a consistent ability to captivate the Pokemon community with a diverse range of impressive and imaginative creations.
