Bandai Namco has unveiled the final character for Tekken 8, introducing Reina in a spectacular trailer. This revelation occurred during a special Tekken 8 event on November 12, featuring past Tekken 7 EVO champions in a gameplay showcase. The roster for Tekken 8 now stands at 32 fighters, including both beloved veterans like Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima, as well as newly introduced fighters such as Victor Chevalier and Azucena Milagros.
Meet Reina – The Latest Addition to Tekken 8:
The trailer opens with the iconic Mishima family dojo, adorned with statues of demons, setting the stage for Reina’s grand entrance. As the illegitimate child of the notorious Tekken family patriarch, Heihachi Mishima, Reina exhibits stylish gameplay with attacks infused with purple lightning, paying homage to her title and lineage. The trailer showcases her facing off against every previously revealed fighter, emphasizing her prominence in the Tekken universe.

As Heihachi Mishima is confirmed deceased in Tekken 8, Reina steps into the void left by the patriarch. The latter half of the trailer highlights Reina’s striking resemblance to her late father, not only inheriting his lightning powers but also replicating his iconic moves.
