Spy x Family Code White: Unveils Worldwide Premiere Dates and English Dubbed Trailer Confirmation

On February 7, 2024, Crunchyroll debuted an English dubbed trailer for the Spy x Family Code White anime film, alongside announcing its global theatrical premiere dates. This followed the joint announcement by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures regarding the film’s release specifics in North America, just a day earlier.

Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll will showcase the film, serving as the franchise’s first theatrical release, in North America starting April 19. Viewers will have options for both the original Japanese version with English subtitles and an English dubbed version. Similar viewing options are anticipated for the global theatrical release dates.

Release details for India, a common practice for anime film releases, currently remain undisclosed. Spy x Family Code White is set to be released globally by April 26, excluding India.

Spy x Family Code White premiered in Japanese theaters on December 22, 2023, featuring an original storyline. By February 5, 2024, it had amassed 4.23 million ticket sales, earning 5,698,463,520 yen (approximately $38.35 million USD).

Wit Studio and CloverWorks collaborated on the film’s animation, with Takakshi Katagiri directing and Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter. Kazuaki Shimada served as the character designer, and Kana Ishida as the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asano and Kazuhiro Furuhashi held pivotal roles as the chief animation director and animation supervisor, respectively.
