The official website for the BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! compilation films announced details about its two upcoming compilation films. The first film, “Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko” (A Sunny Spot in Spring, A Stray Cat), is set to premiere on September 27, followed by the second film, “Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta” (Sing, the Song That Can Define Us), on November 8. A new BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! trailer for the first film was also released.

These films will compile episodes from the BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! streaming series, with the first covering episodes 1-7 and the second covering episodes 8-13. Both films will include new footage, with the second featuring a “film live sequence.” Director Koudai Kakimoto BanG Dream! emphasized focusing on the character Rāna Kaname adding new story sequences about her.
The BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! anime originally premiered in June 2023 on Tokyo MX BanG Dream! and ABEMA, with Crunchyroll streaming it simultaneously. The series concluded with its 13th episode in September. A sequel, BanG Dream! Ave Mujica premiere, is set to premiere in January 2025.
Koudai Kakimoto BanG Dream! returned to direct the new anime at SANZIGEN BanG Dream! direction, with Yuniko Ayana BanG Dream! script supervising and writing the scripts. The opening theme song is “BanG Dream! opening theme Hitoshizuku” and the ending theme is “BanG Dream! ending theme Shiori” (Bookmark), both performed by MyGO!!!!! band anime. The anime stars Hina Yomiya as Tomori Takamatsu, Rin Tateishi as Anon Chihaya, Hina Aoki as Rāna Kaname, Mika Kohinata as Soyo Nagasaki, and Koko Hayashi as Taki Shina.
The BanG Dream! multimedia project launched in January 2015. The main TV anime debuted in January 2017, followed by additional seasons and films, including the recent BanG Dream! Poppin’ Dream! and Morfonica’s two-episode anime. The franchise also features several films and web anime spinoffs.
