The anime Delico’s Nursery, which premiered on August 7 JST, is now shifting its schedule for the release of the second half. Starting from Episode 7, the remaining episodes will air in October, with the new arc being labeled “Act 2.” Episode 7 is set to premiere on October 16 JST (October 17 at 12:30 AM JST). While the announcement doesn’t explicitly frame this as a delay, the gap between Episode 6 and Episode 7 spans over a month. During this interval, reruns of the previous episodes will be broadcast with cast commentary, and on the final day of the break, a narrated compilation of the first six episodes will air.
Inspired by the TRUMP series of vampire-themed stage plays, the anime focuses on Dali Delico, a member of the Blood Pact Council, the highest governing body of the Vamps. Despite his elite status, Dali refuses a mission from the Vamps, and as suspicions about his motives and possible involvement in mysterious murders grow, other council members—Gerhard, Dino, and Henrique—visit him, only to find him taking care of an infant child.
The series is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori with animation production by J.C.STAFF, and the original character designs by illustrator Araya. The main cast includes Masakazu Morita as Dali Delico, Katsuyuki Konishi as Gerhard Fra, and Hiro Shimono as Henrique Lorca, among others.
