The upcoming anime I Have a Crush at Work, set to release in January, has unveiled a key visual that showcases the main couple alongside the supporting cast. The new visual highlights the romantic dynamics that will shape the series. A teaser trailer was also released last month, adding excitement for fans awaiting the adaptation.

Based on Akamaru Enomoto’s manga, originally published by Kodansha, I Have a Crush at Work is described as a charming office romance. The story revolves around two coworkers who are deeply in love yet determined to keep their relationship a secret. Each workday brings them together in ways that test their resolve, as they attempt to hide their true feelings from colleagues. The manga, serialized in Morning from March 2019 to January 2023, has since been compiled into 15 tankoubon volumes.

The anime adaptation is backed by an experienced staff. Naoko Takeichi, known for co-directing Cooking With Valkyries, will direct the series. Masahiro Yokotani, the series composer of Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!, will handle series composition. Character design is led by Mina Osawa, recognized for her work on Given. Animation production is by Studio BLADE, adding expertise to the project.

The cast includes Seiichiro Yamashita as Masugu Tateishi and Yume Miyamoto as Yui Mitsuya, the central couple whose office romance fuels the story. Supporting roles feature Shizuka Ito as Shizuno Hayakawa, Reio Tsuchida as Keisuke Somei, and Yo Taichi as Maria Morizono. With its mix of skilled creators and a beloved source material, I Have a Crush at Work promises a relatable and heartwarming journey into workplace romance.
