A Starfield gamer displays their handmade spaceship, which they spent many hours and numerous attempts to create and was inspired by Batman’s batwing.
Pictures of a player’s modified spacecraft that was modeled after Batman’s Batwing are stunning the community of the online game Starfield. The big ship is a striking illustration of what a dedicated player can do with Starfield’s ship customization tools.
On September 6, Starfield went live after nearly a week in early access. It was reportedly the biggest release Bethesda has ever had, with over 6 million copies sold at launch. Players can create unique ships using prefab modules, one of the game’s many features. Social media has been used by many players to display their creations. This features ships inspired by well-known franchises like Star Wars and The Magic School Bus.

Recently, Reddit user bmikey displayed his customized, Batman-inspired starship by posting numerous spectacular photographs of it. The ship is all black and has two wings and a body made up of modules. Although the interior of the ship was not revealed, the designer did note that there were four ladders required to access each level. However, this custom Starfield ship certainly achieves the desired effect if the purpose was to create a spacecraft that would look excellent silhouetted in front of the moon.
They did not go into great detail about how they created their Starfield spacecraft, but the Reddit user did pledge to release a build manual in the future. However, it appears to have required a lot of work; according to bmikey, he spent roughly 15 hours going through many design revisions. Particularly, ladders appear to have been a bit of a pain. Players in Starfield must move and reconnect modules until the connections are made exactly where they want them to be in order to move ladders. Even the designer of the ship struggled to get their ideal interior, despite some recommendations from commenters.
Another commenter identified a significant potential that bmikey’s design missed. The Mantis spacesuit and spaceship are available to players who successfully complete the Mantis task in Starfield. The Mantis is essentially the Starfield universe’s equivalent of Batman, terrifying many space pirates. It has a passive effect that occasionally prompts Crimson Fleet ships to escape, claims one commenter. Even if players remove every module from the starting ship and build a brand-new one, this still functions.
Unfortunately, bmikey was unaware of this skill and was unable to utilize it in the creation of their ship. The Batman-inspired ship is nonetheless stunning in spite of this, especially in light of the amount of work that went into building it. In addition, it creates a fantastic opportunity for other Starfield players who might wish to pursue a similar strategy.
