Mimimi Games, despite discontinuing future game development, remains dedicated to enhancing their existing masterpiece, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. While the game had some minor issues upon release, the studio is committed to refining this underrated gem of 2023.
The latest update introduces significant improvements for controller users, enhancing their battlefield experience. Players can now employ camera controls reminiscent of Desperados 3 and Shadow Tactics. By navigating to Options, Gameplay, and adjusting the Camera Follow Mode to Standard, players gain the ability to pan the camera using the right stick to get a broader view of the battlefield. Holding down RT on Xbox controllers or R2 on PlayStation controllers allows for zooming and rotation using the same stick. Additionally, players can pin the camera to the currently selected pirate by tapping RT / R2, a departure from the previous method involving D-pad down.
While the camera enhancements take the spotlight, the update also addresses numerous fixes and adjustments, enhancing the overall gameplay experience aboard the Red Marley and its surroundings. Despite the studio’s decision to halt future game development, Mimimi Games remains committed to perfecting their existing creation for the enjoyment of players.
